BAILEY BRADY

SWEETIE’S OCTOBER ARTIST

About…

…Bailey Brady is a self-taught artist based in San Francisco who works in pencil, pen, and watercolor.

She focuses on buildings — their facades and the ways people inhabit them — seeing them as intricate, colorful, and lived-in. Each facade tells a different story shaped by its purpose and the lives unfolding inside, yet we often pass them by without a second thought.

Bailey’s paintings are a way of holding onto these places, making them small enough to keep and take with you. Since she began drawing in 2018, she has painted mostly for herself while also taking on commissions of meaningful homes and buildings.

Through her work, she hopes to encourage others to slow down, notice, and appreciate the built world — not only the new or iconic, but also the everyday and overlooked spaces that surround us.
