Ed Handelman has been a part of the North Beach art scene since the early sixties. His recent work is atmospheric memories of growing up under the skies of the midwest.

A prominent figure in the North Beach art scene, Ed Handelman has lived and exhibited his work in San Francisco since the early 1960s. Born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1933, his long career spans over six decades of local and international exhibitions.

 

His recent paintings draw deeply from personal memory, capturing the atmospheric essence, tonalism andvivid colors of the Midwestern skies from his youth.
