Is the pool table free?
Yes. Our well-cared for table is free to play every day we're open. No quarters and no table fee. First come, first served. Chalk board is up for adding your name to the list.
Is there a cover charge for the live jazz?
No cover, no minimum. The Vince Lateano Trio plays the First Friday of every month from 6 to 9pm, outside in our Francisco Street parklet. Dress for the weather as seating is outside too.
Do you serve food?
Yes. Thin crust pizza, shepherd's pie, mac and cheese, a toasted pretzel with spicy mustard, Castelvetrano olives, and house roasted nuts. Not a full kitchen, but real food.
What non-alcoholic options do you have?
BrewDog Hazy AF, Hopwater, Fever Tree ginger beer, Red Bull, and Fre alcohol-removed white and red wine. Always stocked. If you're not drinking alcoholic beverages, we have non-alcoholic options for you.
Do you have outdoor seating?
Yes, we have a parklet on Francisco Street and tables outside on the sidewalk by Sweetie's exterior wall. It's where the jazz plays on First Fridays.
When are the art opening held?
A new artist goes up on the wall every month in the Black + White Gallery, opening on the North Beach First Friday. The opening is from 6pm -8pm, and open to the public and bar patrons.
What are your hours?
Open seven days.
- Monday through Thursday and Sunday, 4pm to 10:30pm.
- Friday and Saturday, 4pm to 11pm. There is no happy hour.
Where is Sweetie's located?
475 Francisco Street, between Mason and Powell, one block off Columbus Avenue in North Beach. A short walk away from Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39.
